Mash Digest 2.0 and Tina
New- Mash Digest 2.0 — now on for every paid plan — Your digest is no longer a list of bookmarks with captions. It reads the week you actually had, groups related posts under a headline that says what happened, leads with the one thing worth your attention, and tells you why each pick made it in. Every paid plan is on the new digest — nothing to switch on.
- Say what you want your digest to be — Describe it in plain language — "a 5-minute Monday read on AI agents, skip the memes" — and the digest is built to that brief, to that length. Run more than one: a daily skim and a weekend deep read can live side by side.
- Tina, your assistant, everywhere you are — Ask about anything you have saved from any page, or open her full screen. She searches, summarises long threads and articles, organises your library into labels, drafts from your saves, and builds a digest on request.
- Ask Tina about a specific post — Every bookmark can start a conversation. Pin a post and Tina reads it with you — what it is actually saying, how it connects to what you have been saving, and the first concrete step if you wanted to use it.
- What you have started saving — Tina notices when a topic is genuinely rising in your library — not just big, but growing — and can turn it into a Smart View that keeps collecting, or make it something your digest leads with.
- Organise a whole library at once — Ask Tina to organise your bookmarks and she proposes labels drawn from what is actually in there, with the count behind each one. You approve the ones you want; nothing is applied until you do.
- Read the digest on the web, or share it — Every issue has a page of its own with the full reading experience, and a link you can send to someone who is not on Tweetsmash.
- Digests over the API — Fetch your issues from the public API and subscribe to a digest.sent webhook, so a digest can kick off whatever you build next.
Improved- One balance for everything AI — Chat used to have its own separate credit counter, so you could top up and still be told you were out. There is now a single AI balance behind chat, digests and summaries — one number, and it is charged by what the work actually costs.
- Tina says what she read — When she summarises, she names the source — the unrolled thread, the article, the replies in your library — so you always know whether an answer came from the whole thing or just the post.
- Report a bad answer — Thumbs-down now opens a short report that reaches us with the answer attached, so a wrong reply becomes something we can actually fix.
Official X API import + native X Articles
New- Import via the official X API — Connect your X account to pull your most recent bookmarks directly — no extension required. The browser extension still brings your full history, even past X’s API limits.
- Read X Articles natively — Long-form X Articles now open in a clean in-app reader, and their full text is searchable right alongside your bookmarks.
Fixed- Plan status for API users — Paid API-key users are now correctly recognised as active — no more wrongful limits when calling /bookmarks.
- Notion sync on long titles — Bookmarks with titles over Notion’s 2,000-character limit no longer break the sync.
- Twitter Lists modal crash — Opening a Twitter List dialog no longer crashes the page.
Analytics and reliability
New- Web analytics — Added Vercel Web Analytics for a clearer picture of how the app is used.
Fixed- Label name collisions — Creating labels no longer fails when a name already exists under a different id.
- Extension bookmark sync — Stopped intermittent 500s and log noise when the extension syncs bookmarks.
- Search upgrade prompt — Fixed a crash when the upgrade prompt appeared in Explore search.
Google Sheets ordering + account cleanup
Improved- Reliable Sheets order — Every bookmark now carries a stable Bookmark ID column, so your exported Sheet stays in a consistent order.
Fixed- Account deletion — Your email is now saved on account deletion so support can still help if you return.
Safer labels
Fixed- Safer label removal — Removing a label now targets the exact bookmark instead of risking a bulk delete across your library.
- Adding labels via API — Corrected the label-add route so labels apply reliably.
- Scroll position — Your place in the feed is kept when you switch away from the tab and back.
Your year in bookmarks
New- Yearly Recap — A personalised look back at what you saved and read over the year.
Affiliate program + faster loads
New- Affiliate program — Earn by referring Tweetsmash — a new affiliate page with your link and stats.

Faster Google Sheets export
Improved- Bulk Sheets writes — Exports to Google Sheets are batched, so large libraries sync much faster.
